DESCRIPTION:The countdown is on! Mark your calendars for one of the craziest shows in the South!\n\nCalling ALL professional cars and all makes and models of vehicles!\n\nThe Paranormal Society of Northeast Georgia and Beyond would like to welcome you to the Half Dead Car Show Festival.\nWe will have entertainment all day. Come see some of the most beautiful belly dancers around\, come ride a mechanical bull\, and enjoy some live music and a dj.\nCome visit The Miles Through Time Automotive Museum. The museum is about 30\,000 sqft. and averages about 130 full-size vehicles on display. Plus\, vintage bicycles\, motorcycles\, pedal cars\, and over 5\,000 model cars are on display. There are more than just cars to view in the Museum including a whole town\, a replica of the first Phillips 66 Station\, and a Fountain shop. General admission to car museum is $16 . Kids 6-12 are $7 and kids under 6 can enter the museum for free with a paying adult. Shop Vintage Garage Antiques for some killer deals.\n\nCar show and festival details: Spectator admission to car show is free.\n\nDust those cars off and bring them out! We welcome all makes and models. $20 at registration booth.\nIf you pre-register and pay early\, we will put your name in a drawing at the show. We have 2 prizes to give away. Message Melanie Baez for the pre-registration form. You must be present at the show to win.\n\nTrophies handed out at 4:30 pm.\n\nAs follows: 1st through 20th place. One Best in Show.\nOne trophy for best “Dressed to Possess” vehicle. This means to decorate your car spooky.\n$100 Long Distance award for vehicles. You will write your miles in on the registration form.\n\nVendor Trophies: Best top 5 and 1 best in show for spookiest vendor.\n\nCOSTUME CONTEST: Come dressed in costume\, not mandatory. We will have an adult category\, kid\, and animal category. Each category with a winner and a runner up.\n\nMotel information:\nQuality Inn of Cornelia2965 J.Warren Rd. Cornelia\, GA 30531(706) 778-9573\n\nYou MUST give the name Half Dead Car Show to get group rate.\n$125 for one king bed plus taxes$135 for a double bed plus taxes.\n\nCut off is September 3rd. Prices will be higher if you wait too long. Call and book your room now and pay when you check in. This motel is just a place to sleep and hang out. 48 hours advance notice if you cancel.\n\nMotel is 6 miles from show and 19 miles from the beautiful Bavarian town of Helen\, GA.\nEvent is animal and kid friendly.\n\nOur vendors will be some of the most interesting around. Some items include: Taxidermy\, metaphysical items\, clothing\, tarot\, license plate making\, candles\, jewelry\, artifical flower arrangements\, cemetery pots and inserts\, car detailing\, haunt sauce\, spell jars\, crystals\, handmade arts and crafts\, skeletal articulation\, spider web preservation\, mushroom art\, handmade found objects\, flower pot-heads\, hand made gnomes\, car and air fresheners.
