This car is a World Record Holder. Ed Bolian broke the Cannonball Run record in 2013 with this car completing the New York to LA race in only 28 hours and 15 minutes. Ed completed this race with co-drivers Dave Black and Dan Huang and the team of three only stopped for a total of 46 minutes.

The total miles of the race was 2,886 miles. To put this in perspective Google says it should take 43 hours of non-stop driving to complete the journey. Ed and his team had to complete the 2,886 miles in just over 28 hours by averaging about 105 mph the entire time.

The CL has been modified to complete the journey in such an extrem time including and enlarge fuel cell, which takes up the entire trunk and multiple electronics to help navigate their way accross the country.
