MILES THROUGH TIME AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM

**UPDATE**

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum has relocated to the Old Clarkesville Mill in Clarkesville, GA

Toccoa’s newest attraction is located in the old Ford dealership on the corner of Big A Rd. and Currahee. Prior to being the Ford Dealership the building was also a tire shop and originally a Chrysler Dealership when the building was built in 1939.

Now the 6,000 sqft. building is home to Toccoa’s newest museum Miles Through Time Automotive Museum.  This Toccoa museum is unlike most museums.  Everything inside the museum is owned by different people.

People can store their classic, exotic or rare vehicle in the museum, which keeps their prized ride in a safe climate-controlled environment.  When the owners aren’t driving their vehicles they are displayed as museum exhibits.  Owners also have complete access to the museum and lounge where they can enjoy unlimited coffee and automotive literature while they kick back in the rocking chairs.

These vehicles make visiting the museum exceptionally intriguing because you never know what you might be able to bring home with you.

The biggest pride the museum takes comes from the vehicles and automotive memorabilia that has been donated to the museum.  Donated vehicles, automotive signage, toys, parts, tools, literature, etc. continue to be donated to the museum and displayed for all visitors to enjoy.

This museum concept allows all kinds of people to take ownership and pride in their collections they can share with the world.  No donation is too small, even if you don’t have any automotive related items to donate, store or sell, money and time donations are always appreciated and truly helps the museum to grow and allows the museum to do more things for the community.

Admission to the museum helps provide a safe environment for the vehicles and automotive history on display.  Access to the museum is only $5 per person and children under 12 are free with a paying adult.

Season passes are also available for frequent visits.  An individual season pass is only $25, a family pass for up to 4 is only $50 and for a limited time, an individual lifetime pass can be purchased for $100.  This is great for friends and groups of people to enjoy.

This Toccoa museum is a “living museum” which means it is constantly changing.  Vehicles come and go and exhibits are always being improved and added too.

At the moment the oldest vehicle on display is a 1910 Sears, the rarest is a 1911 Brush.  There are 9 different Model A’s, two Model T’s, a Roadrunner, Cadillacs, Fords, Corvettes and more.

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum is worth the short trip from Atlanta, Charlotte or Greenville, and a must-stop if you’re heading to through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
