About the 1997 Jaguar XK8
The Jaguar XK8 (project code X100) is a grand tourer launched by Jaguar Carsin 1996, and was the first generation of a new K series. The XK8 was available in two-door coupé or two-door convertible body styles with the new 4.0-litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine.
The addition of light sensitive headlamps and an automatically dipping rear view mirror was new for 97. This car was manufactured on October 18, 1996 and finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic with white leather. This car was originally sold in Birmingham, AL and the second and current owner purchased the car March, 29, 2014.
This car has a 294 HP 4.0 liter multi-point fuel injection V& engine with a 5 speed automatic with a top speed of 155 mph which is electronically limited. The tires are 245/50 ZR17’s with a 102 inch wheel base and a weight of 3,560 lbs. Actual mileage is 36,700
