About the Cadillac Coupe De Ville
This 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is owned by Miles Through Time Automotive Museum founder, Sean Mathis. This car is known as Pop’s 59 since the car was originally owned by Sean’s grandpa (Pop). This is the car that led to the creation of the Miles Through Time Automotive Museum.
This 59 Cadillac was the only car Sean owned when he founded Miles Through Time Automotive Museum in 2017. Within a few years, a production company visited the museum and requested to use Pop’s 59 in the movie When We Last Spoke. You can see the car throughout the entire movie.
The color of this 1959 Cadillac is Wood Rose with a Dover White top and Persian Sand interior. The car is 225 inches long, has 325 hp, and weighs almost 5,000 pounds. The only thing Sean has done to the car visually is put wide white wall tires back on the car and detailed it. The car had remained in Sean’s grandpa’s shop his entire life, until it was delivered from Roseville, California.
Miles Through Time Automotive Museum exists because Sean felt so fortunate to own his Pop’s car that he wanted to share it with as many people as possible and give others the same opportunity with the MTT platform.
