About the 1965 Ford Mustang
The original owner of this Mustang was named Glenda Green from Massachusetts. Glenda sold the car to a father and son who then restored it about 12 years ago in Virginia. The current owner bought the car from an older couple in Virginia that mainly took it to car shows and only drove it 3k miles in the 10 years they owned it.
The car is now back to its original color of Ivy Green despite spending some time in bright orange.
This color is what drew Shayna to the car and has helped with her grieving process after her father passed away in June of 2021. Cars can be more than just a mode of transportation and can actually serve a deeper purpose, like helping people deal with struggles.
A total of 559,451 Mustangs were produced in 1965
