About the 1986 Audi Coupe GT

The Audi Coupe GT was more or less conceived as a less complicated (which in today’s world means less expensive) front-wheel drive version of the widely more famous Audi Quattro. They were both introduced in 1980.

Specifically, the Coupe GT was first displayed at the Paris Salon in 1980, and this particular model could be yours for a very reasonable amount of money. The Coupe GT was designed by Giugaro and it has aged quite gracefully.

Several different versions were made but this particular model is powered by a 5-cylinder, naturally aspirated 2.3 L petrol engine making 130 hp. Only 803 units were imported to the US in 1986.
